These beautiful handmade, hand-stitched journals have a rugged elegance about them.
They are handcrafted of a rustic oil tanned cowhide outer and a vegetable tanned hide for the inner, using old traditional methods and reflect a timeless quality. I like a journal that shows the miles of the journey, after all, it’s on the same journey that I’m on. And, I don’t want to have to buy a new one every time my journal is full. So, it needs to be heirloom quality and also refillable. For convenience I always like to have a “quick jotter” in my pocket to grab thoughts, poems, song ideas etc… it’s a trusted and handy travel companion and you’ll never catch me without it.. When I have the luxury of the quiet I gather the notes and quotes and scribbles of thoughts from “The Jotter” and develop them as I transfer them over to my “Heirloomer” journal. When the journal is full I take the writings of that season of life away to a safe place, reload and start again.
